As reported by Censor.NET, this was stated by the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to the agency, Sparrow UAV systems have already passed the official tests.
"Sparrow series UAVs are designed for long and medium range tactical reconnaissance. Fast installation, simplicity and reliability, resistance to mechanical and thermal stress as well as moisture make them indispensable assistants for reconnaissance task groups," the statement reads.
It is also noted that these UAVs are able to carry out reconnaissance while remaining unnoticed both visually and by radar due to their small size and materials used.
"The unmanned aerial systems of this series are capable not only to show the picture of the area under surveillance, but also identify the type of the hostile hardware and its exact location transmitting this information to the control panel online," the press service of the Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate added.
