As reported by Censor.NET citing the regional police, they received a call from a local resident in the morning. The man reported fresh damages on a car belonging to his wife.
The law enforcers arrived at the scene and found an armed RGD-5 grenade in the rim of another vehicle standing next to this one and belonging to the man who called the police.
Both cars were parked near a residential building.
The law enforcers have cordoned the area off and diverted traffic. The threat to civilians has been neutralized.
Police say the grenade could have exploded from the vehicle's slightest movement or push.
The fact has been preliminary qualified under part 2 article 15 and part 1 article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (attempted homicide). The articles stipulate for up to 15 years in prison.
