Pro-Russian militants entrench positions in Stanytsia Luhanska, - OSCE. PHOTO

Occupied areas near the bridge in Stanytsia Luhanska are seeing more checkpoints of pro-Russian terrorists.

Monitors of the Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) of OSCE recorded two Ural trucks delivering sand from an entrenched position located 150 meters from the Prince Ihor monument (beyond the disengagement area). This was announced by the SMM press service to LIGA.net, Censor.NET reports.

"In three cases the Mission could not reach the railway bridge (within the disengagement area) from any of the sides of the contact line. The Mission's patrol could not enter the occupied areas to the southwest from the walking bridge (within the disengagement area). This was caused by mines and unexploded munition," the press service noted.

LIGA.net reported that terrorists are entrenching positions in the occupied area of Stanytsia Luhanska. Several additional checkpoints have appeared there.

"They [pro-Russian militants - ed.] have started to register entries and exits of those who cross their checkpoints, causing huge lines," Luhansk resident Serhii said.

"All summer houses not far from the Prince Ihor monument have been taken by pro-Russian mercenaries, they have deployed their hardware there," local residents say.
