As reported by Censor.NET, the military equipment was disclosed after a volunteer aerial reconnaissance group provided fresh images of Russian-terrorist hardware in the Donbas to InformNapalm international OSINT community.

The imagery reveals eight 2S1 Gvozdika 122 mm self-propelled guns and six D-30 122 mm howitzers.
Provisionally, the equipment can be classified as part of an artillery battalion consisting of three batteries: two batteries of Gvozdika 122 mm self-propelled guns (4 pieces each) and one battery of D-30 122 mm towed howitzers (6 pieces).
It is the fourth large weapons cluster of Russian terrorists detected and identified by volunteers over the past week in the Donbas. Earlier, a large concentration of tanks and self-propelled guns was recorded in Donetsk just 15 km from the demarcation line. Tanks were also recorded in the village of Rozdolne (10 km from the line). 2S1 Gvozdika 122 mm self-propelled guns were spotted in Novoazovsk (17 km from the demarcation line). All these incidents indicate that militants blatantly violate the agreement to remove heavy weapons 25 km away from the contact line.
Moreover, the revealed artillery battalion is located in an open area in the village of Vrubivskyi. Although it is 30 km from the nearest point of the demarcation line, this is an important indicator of dense saturation of the occupied territories with Russian weapons and military equipment which Moscow is unlikely to be going to draw back into its territory.
Interestingly, TerraServer satellite imagery captured this artillery battalion only in August 2016, while it is not seen on earlier pictures.
As previously reported, during 2016, after monitoring open information sources, including satellite imagery, videos, bystander shots, personal photos of mercenaries and Russian military posted on their social media accounts, InformNapalm identified more than 30 types of weapons and special equipment of the Russian armed forces in the Donbas. In September 2016, all these findings were compiled into a single data base and visualized with the help of video graphics.
