This was announced by volunteer Volodymyr Stepanets on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.
Bachynskyi was born in 1979 in Krasylivka village, Stavyshche district of the Kyiv region.
"In March of 2014, when the war was so unreal and only seemed possible, he, the 35-year-old father of five children, was drafted to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"When he was mobilized, he could have refused. He could have dismissed later, when taken to a shooting range. But he didn't... he went on to defend his Motherland!
"Sasha... A private. A handler. A fighter of the 8th mechanized company of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 72nd guards separate mechanized brigade. Call sign Pechkin. He was among those drafted in the first wave [of military conscription - ed.]. He was among the first defenders in this war," the volunteer wrote.
"During his last surgery on Sept. 29, 2016, Sasha's heart lost this fight of life and death... He died... Sasha was buried in his village of Krasylivka in the Kyiv region. ... He is survived by his parents, wife Natalia, and five children - nine-year-old Andrii, 18-year-old Veronika, eight-year-old Tania, five-year-old Anzhela, and four-year-old Lilia... I know for sure the family needs help. And I know for sure we can help them," Stepanets wrote.
