The female patrol officer who was shot at duty in Dnipro city earlier today has died. Her partner Artem Kutushev died on spot, Censor.NET reports citing 112 TV Channel.
"The bullet stuck in her spine. The doctors collected a consultation for surgery. Unfortunately, the woman did not survive. She died during the surgery," a channel's correspondent said.
A photo of the killed patrol crew was later posted by Roman Sinitsyn on Facebook.
A recidivist named Oleksandr Puhachov, who had previously been on the wanted list, is suspected of the attack. The name of the second suspect has not yet been disclosed. An interception plan has been introduced in the city.
As reported, a traffic law violator shot a patrol officer dead and wounded his female partner in Dnipro city today morning. According to preliminary information, the patrol crew stopped a Citroen car for violation of traffic rules. The driver began to resist the police officers, made a few shots, and fled the scene.
