Like yesterday, the Kyivites blocked the road traffic only letting ambulances go unchallenged. The protesters were also gathering signatures to file the collective action to freeze the construction above the Heroiv Dnipra metro station until the court would make a decision regarding it.
Later, Obolonskyi State District Administration Head Oleksandr Tsybulshchak met with the rally participants. The protesters have decided to block the road traffic every day starting from 7 p.m. until the public hearing regarding the construction scheduled for Sept. 29 is held.
The protesters unblocked the traffic as at 9:15 p.m. promising to continue the rally tomorrow.

As previously reported, the construction of the mall began in July this year. A land plot near the road was fenced and construction equipment was brought inside. Initially, the public was informed about soil reinforcement works in the area. In early August, a building design of the mall appeared next to the announcement about soil reinforcement at the Heroiv Dnipra metro station entrance.
On Wednesday morning, Sept. 7, one of the metro station entrances was torn down to make way for the construction of the mall. During the demolition, the station ceiling above one of the tracks was damaged. After that, a large crack appeared in the floor.
The locals actively oppose the construction of the mall and intend to impede the works at the station entrance. They have handed down a warning notice to representatives of the developer, promising to launch an indefinite protest, and organized around-the-clock duty near the construction site.
