In Poltava, unknown people have broken five memorial boards made in honor of Ukrainian servicemen killed during the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in the east of Ukraine.

Censor.NET reports citing the Poltava police. At 3:00 a.m. Sept. 11, the police station received information that unknown people smashed a memorial board placed on the facade of school No. 38.

A security guard of school No 11 on Biriuzova Street reported about the damage of the memorial board on the facade of the school morning Sept. 11. Security guards of gymnasium No 4 on Botanical Lane and Lyceum No 1 on Shevchenko Street found similar offenses the same morning.

More information came from Poltava State Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Korolenko. The board on the facade of the building on 2 Ostrohradska Str. has also been damaged.

A criminal case under Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (disorderly conduct) has been opened.
