As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by journalist Roman Bochkala on his Facebook page.
"This is decommunization in action. This checkpoint shows no tolerance to 'vata' [pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine - ed.] Whenever [the guys] see a [Russian] tricolor in a car - "come here." A USSR passport cover - "take it off." "I do not want to!" a man was shouting. "We want things as they used to be!" a women moaned.
"It's been 25 years since that country disappeared. It will never exist again, the servicemen say and do not let people pass until they part with these shameful symbols. The guys have gathered an entire gallery of pro-Russian artifacts, for there is no lack of 'Russian world' lovers in this region..." he wrote.
