Such conclusion was made through a forensic examination carried out by the Mykolaiv regional forensic bureau on Wednesday, Aug. 24, Censor.NET reports citing the local online news outlet Novosti-N.
According to the forensic expert report, the death was caused by "concealed bleeding and traumatic injury in the heart." At least four gunshot wounds allegedly inflicted by ball bullets were found on the body of the deceased.
The examination showed that the shots were made at a close range. Two bullets were found in the heart, another one in the lung.
Oleksandr Tsukerman was reported murdered by police officers after he was detained in Kryve Ozero village in the Mykolaiv region Aug. 24. Aug. 25, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko announced the law enforcers apprehended three police officers on suspicion of beating to death the person they had previously detained. The court hearing on their pretrial detention was scheduled for Aug. 25.
