As reported, the Obolonskyi district court of Kyiv hears the case of ex-soldiers of Interior Ministry's Special Operations Forces Tornado Company: ex-Company Commander Ruslan Onyshchenko and his subordinates Demchuk, Ivashov, Svyrydov, Kust, Shevchenko, Hliebov, and Halchuk. They are charged with creating a crime ring involved in a number of grave crimes.
According to Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatolii Matios, the Company soldiers abducted civilians, tortured and raped them. Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov disbanded Tornado Company June 18, 2015.
Military Prosecutor Kravchenko said ex-servicemen of Tornado Company who were tried by the Obolonskyi district court of Kyiv were threatening judges and prosecutors during almost every hearing, pouring green-colored disinfectant, sour milk, and sewage disposals over them.
MPs Semenchenko, Lozovyi and Mosiichuk joined the rally outside the court.
The activists attempted to break into the courthouse at about 10 p.m. The law enforcement officers forced the protesters back.
