"The person posted leaflets calling to create the "people's republic" on computers of a Kyiv cyber cafe.
"The Security Service operatives raided the agitator's place of residence and found drafts of propaganda material in the e-mails he had received from the territories temporarily occupied by terrorists. The law enforcement officers also seized from the perpetrator leaflets with calls to hold a "national referendum" to establish the so-called 'Kyiv People's Republic'.
"As part of the pre-trial investigation, the SBU officers are checking circle of friends and acquaintances of the agitator who appeared to be ex-member of one of Kyiv's local government offices.
"The perpetrator was announced suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of the Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," the statement reads.
