Censor.NET reports citing the brigade's Facebook page.
"According to preliminary data, the captives are a company commander, a platoon commander, and a sniper. They were seized by soldiers of the 2nd battalion of the 54th Mechanized Brigade.
"The ingress of another sabotage and reconnaissance group outside Troitske was spotted at midnight. After letting about 20 occupants come at a short distance, our guys opened fire on the enemy. The three above-mentioned criminals were injured. The others hastily withdrew, leaving their comrades on the battlefield.
"Medics of the 2nd battalion rendered first aid to the injured "LPR" militants. Two of them are in serious but stable condition. One militant died of received injuries.
"The captives undergo hospital treatment under the supervision of doctors and military police. The competent authorities are carrying out respective investigative actions.
"Meanwhile, our soldiers who showed courage and heroism in this episode of Ukraine's anti-terrorist operation are to be honored with rewards," the report notes.
