As the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed Censor.NET, the Ukrainian soldiers gave a fitting rebuff to the saboteurs, forcing them to retreat leaving their wounded behind.
One of them was reportedly a citizen of the Russian Federation, a native of the city of Omsk, Private Natan Tsakirov, who subsequently died of severe wounds.
Two more wounded attackers were detained and provided medical assistance. They are currently in a health care center.
The General Staff stressed that the detainees served as the company and platoon commanders in the Russian occupation troops.
Earlier, the ATO Staff press center informed that the Russian-terrorist forces stepped up military operations along the entire demarcation line while 94 attacks including heavy artillery and mortar strikes were committed against Ukrainian troops yesterday, July 10.
