MPs Yehor Soboliev, Yevhen Deidei, Oleh Petrenko, Ihor Mosiichuk, and Semen Semenchenko are currently at and in the court, correspondent of Censor.NET reports.
According to them, they are negotiating with the military prosecutor's office about the possible change of the measure of restraint for Lykholit.
Tents were brought to Khreshchatyk. They are laid out on the roadway, but not yet installed. A table for the volunteers to sign up was placed near the unfolded tents.
Semenchenko called on the people to come to the court. "Tomorrow, we will probably call the Chamber of people. We're not going to retreat," he said.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office charged two Aidar soldiers with a number of grave crimes. Later it turned out that one of them was Aidar's legend Valentyn Lykholit (call sign "Batia"). Criminal proceeding against him was opened on suspicion of organization of an armed gang, robbery, burglary, and kidnapping of two or more persons. According to the investigators, the fighter violated the Constitution and the Charter of the Ukrainian Armed Forces several times, as well as improperly performed his duties.
The Pechersk court appointed two months detention as the measure of restraint for Lykholit.
