According to the chairman of the court, the registry was destroyed by the fire while the offices and the courtroom sustained no damage.
No hearings will be held in the court today.
A the same time, spokesperson to the court Mykola Mariev told Ukrinform that it was difficult to assess the damage and the total number of cases that had been burnt. However the spokesman assured that all files would be restored.
"We are unable to get to our workplaces as the entire second floor has actually burnt out. The hallways are badly damaged. Everything is covered with soot and blanketed by smoke," Mariev said.

According to the Kyiv Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, eight fire-fighting vehicles and 26 firefighters were engaged in extinguishing the fire. No casualties were reported.
