 Ukrainian soldiers that lost limbs in ATO area competed in CrossFit. PHOTOS

The CrossFit competition among participants of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in the east of Ukraine who were wounded in combat activities and lost their limbs took part in Kyiv on May 22.

The competition was called "Hero Games," volunteer Kateryna Dorokhina reported and posted images of the activities on her Facebook page, Censor.NET informs.

12 soldiers competed in the games. They contested at press-ups, pull-ups, abdominal crunches, etc. The moral courage of the soldiers, who continue their struggles despite anything, is extreme.

Dorokhina noted that the competition was filled with emotions, such as friendship, care, help, and empathy.
