Censor.NET reports referring to presidential Facebook.
"I've presented Ukrainian troops with another batch of weapons. Many thanks to all domestic arms makers for the development of advanced anti-tank missiles, mortars of various caliber, high-precision artillery projectiles. The development of modern control systems, the upgrading of the MLRS Grad, and other projects are at their final stage. Our significant achievement is the successful testing of the domestic high-precision missile Vilkha carried out in March this year. I am confident that Ukrainian soldiers, armed with modern weapons and skills, will ensure the holding of borders, and with time, along with the soldiers of the diplomatic front, will force the invaders out of our land. Glory to Ukraine!" the president wrote.
In January, President Petro Poroshenko promised that Ukraine would be armed with missile systems within the Vilkha project and cruise missile complexes within the Neptune project. This was the first time these projects had been mentioned. A 300-mm Vilkha projectile is developed by the Dnipropetrovsk design bureau Pivdenne, while the control system with inertial navigation and GPS data correction is developed by the Kyiv design bureau Luch.
