At the same time, an Employment Center representative explained that the false data on Savik Shuster's convictions could only be the ground for the cancellation of such a permit.
However, the TV presenter's lawyers were issued certificate confirming that Schuster had no criminal record, Censor.NET correspondent reports.
A dozen journalists and several lawmakers, including Serhii Vlasenko (Batkivshchyna faction MP) and Dmytro Dobrodomov (non-affiliated MP), have gathered inside the Kyiv City Employment Center. Head of Technical Department of the Employment Center Dmytro Shulha is talking to the journalists and lawmakers.
At the same time, Employment Center CEO Viktor Sukhomlyn and his deputy Yurii Porokhnovets were not at their workplaces. However, when the MPs entered the CEO's office, there was the acrid smell of smoke, as if someone had just been smoking in the room. According to Censor.NET correspondent, Mr. Sukhomlyn must return shortly as he has urgently been summoned by his superiors from the State Employment Service Headquarters.
MP Dobrodomov also alleged that the CEO and his deputy "did a fade from their workplaces during working hours being scared of journalists and lawmakers".
