Censor.NET reports citing the statement by Patrіoty Ukrainy community on Facebook.
"Serhii Isaiev from Kostiantynivka was killed today. Serhii was actively involved in the voluntary movement from the first days of the war and then volunteered to serve in the 122nd separate airmobile battalion. He did his best for the Donetsk region - his native land - to become free from the invaders," the statement reads.
"He was well known to hundreds of soldiers, whom he provided assistance to as a volunteer, well known to activists and volunteers from Kostiantynivka, Druzhkivka, and Sloviansk. He treated the Ukrainian flag with deep respect: when the edge of the flag over a military base had worn out a little bit, he purchased a new one and replaced it. He was proud of the flag with the emblem of his native Kostiantynivka most of all. There are little people in the world such bright and insightful like Serhii. Words fail to convey all this pain," Serhii Isaiev's fellows-in-arms wrote.
Serhii left a widow and two children. Anyone willing to provide assistance to his family may use the following bank account: 5168 7572 7243 2719 Kashyna Yulia. Cell: +38 063 743 3019. This is the least we can do today to pay tribute to the memory of the fallen Ukrainian hero. May the memory of him live forever!
