As reported by Censor.NET citing PGO press service, the former official is suspected of obtaining property by deception and large-scale fraud as well as intentional using false documents.
According to the PGO, Kasko illegally, including the use of false documents, appropriated a service-related dwelling of 155 square meters on Druzhby Narodiv Boulevard in Kyiv, with its market value at the time of the offense being about $1.8 million. Thus, he caused large-scale damage to state interests.
Kasko also violated the rights of persons who were in need of better housing conditions, enjoying the right of priority.
A pre-trial investigation has found that Kasko through fraud, namely by providing false information about the absence of permanent housing in Kyiv and overstating the actual number of family members, appropriated apartments in Kyiv during 2003-2016.
According to authorities, the following objects are in question:
- Apartment No. 64, 3 Novhorodska Str., Kyiv (total area - 48 square meters, living area - 19.2 square meters)
