 Two killed in CIT van robbery in Odesa. PHOTOS

In Odesa, a group of unidentified persons committed an armed attack on a cash-in-transit minivan.

Censor.NET reports referring to the press service of the National Police Main Department in the Odesa region.

The incident was reported at 6:20 p.m. "According to our data, two CIT guards received gunshot wounds," the police informed.

The circumstances of the incident are being established.

Dumskaia correspondent, who arrived at the scene, reported first details of the tragedy.

The criminals attacked the CIT service of Raiffeisen Bank Aval.

There were three attackers. A CIT minivan pulled up at the store and the guards went in for money. At this point, two men approached the car and killed the driver. When the guards ran out of the store, the criminals locked themselves in the car. A shoot out followed and another collector was killed.

According to updated information, all criminals have escaped.

Both killed, a guard and the driver, are CIT service employees.

In turn, the National Police reports that "after arriving at the scene, two people, a guard and one of the attackers, were found dead. Another collector has been taken to a medical facility with gunshot wounds."
