 "One-man protest, please!" - Russian police warns activists who came to support Savchenko on prohibition of rallies outside detention center. PHOTOS

Russian police have warned the participants of the rally in support of Nadiia Savchenko outside the Novocherkassk prison, where the Ukrainian pilot is held, that unauthorized rallies are banned.

Russian police officers began warning the activists that they are not allowed to take part in unsanctioned rallies.

"Any walkouts are forbidden to be held here," the policeman said. "One-man protest, please!" he added.

The law enforcers handed in a copy of the law on gatherings, meetings, demonstrations, processions and protests to the activists.
