Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"The patrol police start operating in another city today! We have launched the project in the town of Kremenchuk! 246 newly trained patrol police officers selected in course of a sharp competition from 3,237 candidates have started the service today," Avakov wrote.
According to him, 86% of the new police officers have higher education. 21% of them are female. The average age of a Kremenchuk patrol officer is 25 years. Among them are 38 ATO (anti-terrorist operation) veterans.

"21 patrol teams will patrol the streets of Kremenchuk every night from today on. We've got a beautiful detachment! Let's wish the guys success! While we are being criticized rightly and wrongly, we are overcoming obstacles, straightening errors and moving the reform forward. Poltava is the city to start next - in early March!" he summed up.
