 Russian agent detained while rigging explosives on railroad bridge, - SBU. PHOTOS

The Security Service of Ukraine has detained a former police officer as he was planting an anti-tank mine under the rails on the bridge at the Pavlohrad-Lozova railroad section.

Officers of the Security Service Directorate in the Kharkiv region apprehended the saboteur immediately after he had rigged the explosive device, Censor.NET reports citing the SBU press center.

The attacker attempted to plant a TM-62 anti-tank mine triggered by a timer made of a cell phone. The explosion was intended to impact the passenger train carrying over 500 passengers, which was heading from Odesa to Kostiantynivka.

The terrorist was served notice of suspicion of a crime qualified by the Article 113 (subversive action) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigatory actions are underway.
