Censor.NET reports citing Patrol Police's Facebook page.
The message reads that Mercedes-Benz МL was moving along Gagarina Avenue against traffic at high speed. Patrol policemen received orientation for the car and started to pursuit it. Possibly, having noticed police lights, the Mercedes driver sped up, and after a minute crashed into a store, failing to control the car.
A 30-year-old driver and 28-year-old passenger were in the car. One of the men had a deep wound on his neck. The patrol officers dragged them out of the car and provided pre-doctor care.
"Both speed lovers were evidently drunk; the degree of intoxication would be defined by doctors. They were taken to a hospital by an ambulance.
"The materials of the car accident have been transferred to investigation," the police informed and reminded that drunk-driving leads to a fine from 2,550 UAH ($94) or revocation of driver's licence.
