Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Yurii Allerov said that under existing plans the "Stare" training center is to be improved according to NATO standards and made an international center for training of military personnel. "I got a very good impression on those soldiers and commanders with whom I met today. They are well-trained and have a high level of motivation. We believe that the command of the National Guard of Ukraine understands very clearly what is needed to be improved and changed. We would be very glad to visit the training center soon and see all the implemented innovations," said the Commander of the California National Guard U.S. Major General David Baldwin.
During the visit, the members of delegation also attended training facilities of the newly formed rapid response special units of the Ukrainian National Guard.
