As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center.
"On Feb. 10, 2016 at 7:56 a.m. a civilian Volkswagen Transporter vehicle tripped an explosive device in the territory uncontrolled by Ukrainian government, 600 m from 'Marinka' checkpoint," the message reads.
According to the HQ, the car was in the line waiting to cross to the territory of the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic."
"Having ignored the signs warning of possible mines, the car's driver pulled over to the shoulder, causing the explosion. Out of five people in the car, two were killed on spot, one received wounds," the headquarters informed.
It is also reported that an ambulance arrived at the scene: "At 8:30 a.m. those injured were taken to a hospital in Kurakhove. During transportation, one person died in the ambulance car."
