The ceremony of presentation of a new experiment within the Interior Ministry reform took place in Bila Tserkva. New response units intended to patrol the Kyiv region get down to work, Censor.NET reports referring to Interior Minister Arsen Avakov's Twitter.
"83 response units assumed service in 11 regional police territorial departments... Each group operates around the clock and is composed of preventive service and patrol officers, as well as former traffic police officers. The police is equipped with service firearms, official vehicles, special protective gear, and means of communication," National Police Main Department in the Kyiv region press service explained.
"We are launching new response units within the Kyiv region. Arrival on call in rural areas should not exceed 20 minutes, in district centers - seven minutes," Avakov wrote in his Twitter.
The implementation of this practice is underway in the Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Lviv regions.
