Personal data: senior lieutenant Konstantin Mishkin, born June 13, 1988, resident of Kursk, Russia.
Konstantin owns a car with plates number М886РТ46 (46 is the regional Kursk code ).
The officer's collar insignia indicate that he serves in the anti-aircraft missile troops. His place of residence and service branch indicate that he serves in the 53rd anti-aircraft missile brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, which is featured in the records of the investigative group in the case of the MH17 downing.
Konstantin Mishkin attended a military college between 2006 and 2011.
Volunteers have noticed an award on Mishkin's photos in social networks - St George's Cross of the 4th degree. This is an important military award of the Russian Federation.
It is worth noting that no award is seen at Mishkin's graduation photos; it appears on his wedding images. The officer married on Oct. 15, 2015, which indicates he was awarded sometime between 2011 and 2015.
Note: St George's Cross is awarded to officers for acts of bravery in combat activities in the home country or abroad.
A question is what exactly did Mishkin do in his homeland or foreign countries to receive the award? Was it a destroyed Ukrainian military jet or the MH17 Boeing?
Here are links to archives of photos and social network pages of the guy.
Prior to being published on InformNapalm, this text had been posted on personal Facebook page of OSINT investigator of the community Mykhailo Kuznetsov on Jan. 4, 2016 in order to see the reaction of the Russian counterintelligence. Despite the material was not actively shared, several hours after the profile of the officer in social networks had been cleaned up and deleted, then put up again later with fewer images. All images with the award were gone, which might be an indirect proof of the hypothesis of this officer's participation in the Donbas operation.
