Yuriy Isaev. Born May 30, 1992, city of Volzhsk, Kazan area. Lists Kazan as his home city.
Isaev served in the army between 2011-2012.
At the moment, Yuriy Isaev is a soldier of the 49th machine gun artillery regiment (military unit no. 71436) of the Russian Federation's Army.
A group photo of Isaev and his comrades below was uploaded on Dec. 6, 2015 and made somewhere in the fields.
On this image Isaev can be seen in the uniform with chevrons of the 49th machine gun artillery regiment of the Russian Army.
Detailed analysis of the image with http://regex.info website which uses EXIF data of photos, the date (Nov. 20, 2015) and device (Samsung SM-G920F) of the photo were established.
Unfortunately, there was no geolocation data in the file, so it is not possible to say where exactly the photo has been made: in Ukraine, Russia, or somewhere at the Ukrainian-Russian border.
In spring-summer 2015 Isaev was seen near Bezimenne village (Novoazovsk district) in a classic "DPR militant" uniform.
His account also contains a photo together with terrorist call sign Maloy at a checkpoint near Shyrokyne, the authors of the material note (image below, Isaev is far right, Maloy is far left).
"Interestingly, both local separatists and Russian mercenaries often call themselves terrorists. The entire world knows how terrorists are treated in Europe and the U.S. Ukraine is the only country to be holding talks with terrorists for the second year in a row. The anti-terrorist operation (ATO) is also lasting for the second year as well, which now should be officially listed in the Guinness record book as the lengthiest ATO in the world," the authors of the article note.
