This is announced in a new article by international volunteer community InformNapalm, Censor.NET reports.
"This publication reveals new details about 291st brigade artillerists' participation in the Donbas war and is the first one of the new series that will disclose information about units and individual Russian war criminals.

"Aflyatunov came to military service in late 2013 and was sent to serve in Ingushetia-based 291st separate artillery brigade, howitzer artillery battalion - 152-mm Msta-B weapon. In mid-summer 2014 by the moment of Donbas conflict escalation, Junior Sergeant Aflyatunov with his howitzer battery left for their "Rostov-Ukrainian trip" to Ukraine-bordering Kamenka district of Rostov oblast until mid-fall. Several months after his return, in the end of 2014, Aflyatunov left military service only to sign three-year contract with the Russian Defense Ministry in the same 291st artillery brigade.
"War criminal Aflyatunov posted images of summer-fall 2014 illegal shelling of the Ukrainian territory from the Rostov region of the Russian Federation to his VKontakte page in September 2014. Similar series of photographs from Kamenka district of Rostov oblast have been recorded in accounts of other artillerists from the 21st brigade. Chronology, landscape of the area, masking of equipment and weapons, as well as nonregulation appearance of the militants that smells 'novorossia' speak for themselves.

"The Alfyatunovs also posted images of various honors - "For service in Caucasus," jubilee medal "20th anniversary of 58th Army," and "For battle honors" medal (archives 1, 2, 3, 4 ).

"In summer 2015 Aflyatunov uploaded more military photos to his album from his second "Ukrainian trip." The images were made in field conditions, where the freshly-promoted sergeant is wearing full gear, nonregulation uniform, and posing with weapons and a radio.
"291st artillery brigade is not the only unit of the Russian army that was shelling the territory of Ukraine and the evidence of which have been gathered by InformNapalm.
"In November 2014, evidence of the 200th MLRS battalion of Russia's North Fleet were published, including video proofs of shelling conducted from Rostov oblast bordering areas with Ukraine and from Ukraine's territory as well, from near Krasnodon. Photos and videos were taken from social network pages of the 200th brigade soldiers," the article reads.
