Law enforcers whose attempts to pass recertification to continue working in the new National Police proved to be unsuccessful held a rally outside the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kyiv on Sunday, Dec. 13.

Censor.NET reports citing 112 Ukraine television channel.

"The people keep arriving to the Interior Ministry building to join the protest. All of them are employees of the Interior Ministry including investigators and law enforcement officers with substantial career length. They say that many of them will reach retirement soon, but they cannot either go on pension or continue working due to the fact that some of them have not passed the recertification or are still passing it," the journalist said.

At the same time the organizers of the picket claimed that many of them had difficulties, that they were allegedly hampered to do their jobs so that they could not pass recertification.
