 Protesters in Kryvyi Rih demand votes recalculation in mayoral election. PHOTOS

Residents of Kryvyi Rih came to a rally to protest against the recognition of the mayoral election results, according to which Opposition Bloc member Yurii Vilkul was recognized the winner.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, around 7,000 protesters are participating in the rally. They came to support Vilkul's opponent, Samopomich candidate Yurii Myloboh.

MPs Semen Semenchenko, Volodymyr Parasiuk, and Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi came to support the protest in Kryvyi Rih.

People are holding posters with slogans against Vilkul. They require fair recount of the voices.

Dnipropetrovsk District Administrative Court dismissed a lawsuit issued by mayoral candidate of Kryvyi Rih, member of Samopomich Yuri Myloboh against the city's Territorial Election Commission.

Earlier, head of the Election Commission Mykhailo Okhendovskyi said that he sees no reason to question Vilkul's victory at the mayoral election in Kryvyi Rih.
