 117 MPs signed parliamentary draft decree on Prosecutor General Shokin's resignation. DOCUMENT

People's deputies started signatures collection in support of Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin's resignation from his post.

This was announced by Petro Poroshenko Bloc MPs Serhii Leshchenko and Mustafa Nayyem in their Facebook accounts, Censor.NET reports.

As of 9:40 a.m. Nov. 2, 120 MPs have signed the draft decree, Ukrainska Pravda reports.

MP Nayeem wrote on his Facebook page that he hoped for better prosecutor general after Viktor Shokin is dismissed. MP Leshchenko explained his decision to sign the draft decree with Shokin's reluctance to investigate the case against MP Martynenko.
