This was agreed today by representatives of the Texas Rangers Division special operations group and Ukraine's Interior Minister Arsen Avakov during a meeting, Censor.NET reports citing the Interior Ministry press service.
US law enforcers claimed all their efforts, as well as those of their numerous partners, would be focused on Ukraine's taking maximum advantage of their experience in reforming its Interior Ministry. Moreover, division's representatives announced their intention to help the future Ukrainian special task police unit with equipment.
Some organizational issues still remain unsolved, though parties expressed their willingness to settle everything before the training starts.
Avakov stressed Ukraine's need of a quick reform, though stating the quality should not surrender to pace.
"When you embark with us on setting up the new system, please, adhere to our major rule: less is more! We will create a nucleus and then establish the new system step by step," the minister said.
