The report reads: "The Ukrainian troops have also taken active part in clearing of construction debris in areas impacted by mines and shells, repair of damaged buildings and evacuation of local residents to safe places.
"The coordinators of the local group of civil-military co-operation carried out explanatory work among the population over the shelling of the village by the pro-Russian militants in order to prevent the spread of false information.
"The generalship of the sector held an emergency offsite meeting with the mayor of Mariupol and representatives of the security agencies, where they discussed issues of coordinated early warning of citizens on possible attacks by the separatists.
"The territory of the village has been completely inspected for unexploded ordnance. Power supply has been restored, and repair of the residents' premises is underway.
"The International Committee of the Red Cross and the Danish Refugee Council were promptly informed on the incident and they have provided humanitarian assistance to the victims," the Defense Ministry's statement reads.
