Five Russians involved in international terrorism detained in Kyiv. PHOTOS

Five Russian citizens involved in an international terrorist organization have been detained by the SBU special forces unit "Alpha" in one of Kyiv's districts.

As reported by Censor.NET referring to the SBU press center, one of the detainees is wanted by Interpol.

Last year, he was detained in one of the European countries, but escaped from custody having attacked the guard.

Law enforcers seized pistols, ammunition, and a grenade. During a search at the malefactors' rented apartment, the SBU operatives also found drawings of improvised explosive devices along with their components: a timer, minor parts, circuits, and power sources.


The villains are being checked for possible terrorist acts in Kyiv.

A criminal proceeding under Art. 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine has been initiated, with a corresponding suspicion of crime having been declared. The detainees have been remanded in custody.Источник: https://en.censor.net.ua/p348157
