Protesters burned down hats on the heads of figures representing the above mentioned officials, hinting on situation in which the 'pseudo-reformers' acted against other prosecutors Kasko and Sakvarelidze when they started to really fight corruption within the PGO itself.
Avtomaidan members said that the PGO under Shokin is as reluctant to investigate into Maidan crimes as under his predecessor Vitalii Yarema. They believe that the prosecutor's office is negligent in its investigation into events of a year and a half ago.
Protesters who came from Kharkiv said they joined the demonstration because they have grown tired of traveling to and from Kyiv with requests to the Prosecutor General's Office to investigate into Kharkiv's separatist mayor Hennadii Kernes crimes, Avtomaidan informed.
During the demonstration, more police units were redeployed to the site. Activists said that law enforcers near the PGO were headed by the same person as during the Maidan events.
