People's Front faction MP Anton Herashchenko published a secret worksheet of the Russian Federation's General Staff on occupation of the Left-Bank Ukraine in his blog at Censor.NET.
The Left-Bank Ukraine occupation plan (from the border with Russia to the Dnipro river) is detailed in the document "Report on decision to deploy the Sever (North) group of forces in a special operation" with a "top secret" label and in the Explanatory note to the plan, which have been published at Peacemaker website.
"Expert volunteers of Peacemaker group were able to get these secret documents of the Russian General Staff at their disposal through a special multiple-turn operation, for which they do not ask for rewards from the state. The details of this transaction are not subject to disclosure at the moment, as this channel for receiving secret documents from the Russian General Staff continues to operate, and revelation of its operating methods could lead to loss of the channel of information and loss of life," Herashchenko said.
According to the MP, the document was developed in St. Petersburg at the headquarters of the Western Military District of the Russian Federation. Implementation of the offensive plan was scheduled for April-May 2015.
For instance, only 15 days were allocated for occupation of the whole Left-Bank part of Ukraine under the General Staff of the Russian Federation plan. The goal is to rapidly seize control over the territory and communications without seizure of large cities / regional centers. According to the plan, battalion tactical groups of Russian regular army, united into Sever military group, will have to invade the territory of Ukraine in two stages - first in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, and then in the Poltava, Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.
"This invasion is planned as disguise under mercenaries' attack by 'DPR' and 'LPR,' which gained strength and want to restore constitutional order in Ukraine without return of former president Yanukovych," Herashchenko said.
"The plan also details both conduct of operations scheme in the best traditions of the General Staff of the USSR and engagement of information weapons. In particular, it provides for operations aimed at discredit of the National Guard by "organizing photo- and video fixation of nationalists' crimes against civilians of the 'DPR'/'LPR'." Or simply put, it is planned to shoot a few dozen residents of the occupied Ukrainian Donbas, make pictures and videos about this, and blame it all on the Ukrainian side," the MP said.
