"The NATO Parliamentary Assembly adopted amendments of the Ukrainian delegation to the final resolution. According to the amendment, NATO acknowledges the renewal by Ukraine of its Euro-Atlantic aspirations. Head of the delegation Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze has done her best to make it happen. Now we have a perfect candidate for the Minister of Foreign Affairs position!" he wrote.
"We managed to do this! It was a wonderful new experience of the Ukrainian parliamentary delegation to NATO! With the assistance of our colleagues from the delegations of the United Kingdom, Canada, Lithuania, Poland, the USA, and Turkey, we were able to register amendments to the draft declaration on NATO enlargement, which, for obvious reasons, had not a single word about Ukraine, as only the countries that have expressed the desire to gain membership (including Georgia!) and have to one extent or another succeeded in this were meant in it. Moreover, we have later won the support of all !!!! 28 countries as for the text of the amendment on the recognition of changes in the policy of Ukraine concerning the renewal of its Euro-Atlantic aspirations. I congratulate the delegation colleagues with the first small success and incredible experience of parliamentary diplomacy!" Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Deputy from Poroshenko Bloc Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze wrote on her page on Facebook.
