 Ukraine and NATO sign cooperation agreement. PHOTOS

On April 27, 2015 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) signed an agreement on cooperation and support at the NATO Headquarters in Brussels.

It is reported by Censor.NET citing the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

On the Ukrainian side on behalf of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine the Agreement was signed by Head of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO, Ambassador Dolhov, on NATO's side by Agency's General Manager Mike Lyden.

"The signing of the agreement extends the regulatory framework for practical cooperation with the Alliance, in particular the implementation of the newly established NATO Trust Fund in Support of Ukraine in physical rehabilitation (prosthetics) of servicemen and reforming the military logistics systems and standardization of the Ukrainian armed forces. In addition, the agreement simplifies procedure for creation and implementation of new joint projects," the ministry informed.

It is also reported that the agreement extends the opportunities for Ukraine to participate in cost-effective multi-national projects of the Alliance for logistic support of troops, as well as on the development, production, procurement, upgrading, storage and disposal of military items.
