According to the report, the fighter's friends from the Azov regiment, relatives, colleagues, fellows, a large delegation from Georgia, Georgian Ambassador Mikheil Ukleba, Former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili came to honor his memory. The soldiers' commander Kirti as well as Verkhovna Rada deputy and Azov fighter Andrii Biletskyi have also paid last tribute to him.
"I talked to his wife yesterday. I was astounded by her firmness and she told me about their children and said they should continue this struggle. She said he often iterated that he loves Ukraine so much that he was ready to lay down his life for it. There are currently a lot of Georgian volunteers here. Most of them are career officers," Saakashvili said on the air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
Saakashvili said that the body of the deceased soldier will be sent to Georgia.
