"This station has been in service of the Russian army since 2005 with active use since 2011 at a level of no less than a regiment-brigade.
"But this is not as interesting since we've seen a lot of this "iron." On the photo you can see the latest Russian radio station used in combat formations: the range for a secure communication channel is 500-1,000 km, although communication for this raid could be sufficiently provided by more compact vehicles. All this points to the fact that the management of the operation and data transfer was possibly done directly from Russia, from Rostov or Moscow, because if one unit's range is insufficient, there is an option of using an intermediate station," Komakhidze notes.
