According to STB journalist Olena Shevchuk, answering a question about whether he was Ukrainian, Yefremov said that "such a concept does not exist now", Censor.NET reports.

Former Party of Regions MPs who are currently members of the Opposition Bloc Mykhailo Dobkin and Yurii Voropaiev were also present at the hearing.
According to the journalist, the judge suggested bail in the amount of 3,000,000 hryvnia (approx. $115,385).
Oleksandr Yefremov was detained on Feb. 14 through a joint security operation of the SBU and the Prosecutor General's Office.
He is suspected of committing criminal offenses under Part. 2 Art. 364 and Part. 2, Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is abuse of power with aggravating circumstances and forgery as an official.
The Prosecutor General's Office insists on Yefremov's arrest by the court.
