It is reported by Censor.NET citing the press service of the Ministry.
"During a reconnaissance soldiers of the National Guard Kulschitskyi Battalion noticed a large antenna in the area of the village, where there was constant radio blackout. The locals told them that the house near the place with the antenna is visited by unknown people about once a week," the statement says.
"The apartment was equipped with a radio center. Unfortunately, some of the equipment was missing, all electronic storage devices were taken out," the press service stated.
In the house the soldiers also found passports of Russian citizens, photographs of a young man in a Russian military uniform, and permits for the right to operate radio stations issued by the Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications of the Russian Federation.
"According to preliminary visual findings of the communication experts of the National Guard, the discovered antenna can be considered an antenna field. The mast allows raising the antenna up to 30 meters up. These antennas are used to receive and transmit data at low frequencies, thus the range of the transmitter can reach 300, or up to 500 kilometers at best. Operational activities are being conducted," the press service concluded.
