"Svoboda members from Krasni Okny, the Odesa region, announced that in the night, nice guys greeted the villagers with Stepan Bandera's birthday (Bandera was a leader and organizer of Ukrainian nationalists after the WWII- ed.)," a message on Facebook reads.
The monument was taken down from the pedestal, and it broke to pieces.
