According to Censor.NET citing Hromadske.TV, a group of people holding Ukrainian and Polish flags marched through Warsaw to the Ukrainian Embassy. In conclusion, the participants lit candles at the memorial plaque of fallen heroes and honored them with a moment of silence.
"I want to thank you for the fact that today, as throughout the past year, you have been with us. A year ago, we came to the embassy because we were Ukrainians. But many Poles also rallied with us," chairman of the Warsaw Euromaidan Natalia Panchenko said at the beginning of the meeting.
Representatives of the Polish Sejm have joined the march to express their support for Ukraine.
"Putin is the biggest terrorist in the world. And Europe can only defeat him if it is united," MP Małgorzata Gosiewska stated.
