War in "Cyborg City": Defenders of Donetsk Airport Repel Another Assault. PHOTO

Last night there was another bombing of the Donetsk airport and Pisky village.

This is stated by Censor.NET editor-in-chief Yurii Butusov on his Facebook page.

"The OSCE monitors do not go there for some reason. Walls collapsed in the new and the old airport terminals. Pisky village was heavily shelled," he writes.

According to him, the Russian mercenaries concentrated sniper units equipped with large-caliber (12.7mm and 8.6mm) rifles.

"At least 10-12 sniper pairs are working at any given time. Plus additional spotters. The enemy is trying to organize a sniper terror tracking any movement in the area of new and old terminals and control tower day and night," the military expert wrote.

"These bullets (on the photo below) were used to fire at our position in the airport last night," he noted.

In addition, the journalist notes a significant increase in the density of artillery fire: "It is obvious that the Russian troops are taking part in the shelling together with mercenaries because the enemy concentrated large artillery forces with prepared sections and fire control system."

Censor.NET editor also published a list of things needed by the defenders of the Donetsk airport.

"I asked the guys from one of the units what they need at the airport most of all, and the answer was:

1) AA batteries, preferably rechargeable, 4 pcs for each thermal imagery device (recharging available). At least 40 pcs.

2) shoe soles, preferably with no wool because the terminal is very damp and wet wool pulls in and holds the mositure! At least 25 pairs.

3) Mustard plasters for feet (which are freezing due to moisture and cold)

4) gas cylinders, PRIMUS type.

5) phosphoric lights (single use, up to 24 hours); quantity - at your discretion.

"It's a very humble request. Of course, they need socks, warm underwear, thermal imagery devices. Some good food would be nice, too. Cough medications. Vitamins. Heated patches for the body and feet - a very useful thing, as we remember from the Maidan.

"We are collecting the shipment," Butusov wrote.
