He wrote: Dnipropetrovsk was welcoming heroes from the Donetsk airport. This was not an official event with authorities. Just an announcement on Facebook. The weather is chilly. The guys are running late by 30 minutes because they were first met by volunteers who took them for dinner. But nobody left. About 250-300 people were freezing out there with bunches of flowers. No offence, everybody understands the situation. When the defenders of the airport arrived, these several hundred people gave them an ovation. "Cyborgs" stood covered with flowers - they didn't expect this and asked not to call them cyborgs: "We are humans. Let the enemies use that name, but here, at home, we are humans." People shouted "Glory to heroes!" and it was totally clear that they were the heroes indeed. When people shouted "Death to the enemy," it was clear as well who the enemy is.
After that, the citizens kneeled by those soldiers, who they didn't even know. Look those who voted for "opposition" - these guys couldn't even vote, while you were voting for those bastards. These guys were protecting your city's peaceful skies instead. To greet them, you don't need to build schools or colleges, you don't need a governor or his deputies, people would come to greet them anyway. I believe this is what counts. Welcome back, men, and thank you."
